Stripes Meet Mint Green

Hi Guys,

I am most definitely becoming more and more of a minimalist. Last Spring and Summer, I was all about and mixing prints and patterns. I will still have my colorblocking moments this Spring and Summer but what I find myself wearing more and more are easy to wear pieces that are very simple.

I am loving hi low dresses and skirts, midi skirts, and just basic staple items that can perform double duty and go from day to night. I recently wore this striped maxi, and paired it with my cream blazer and finished it off with my mint green pumps I've worn numerous times on the blog. I loved the crisp clean lines with a pop of color.

  1. I love the shoes, but I seem not to able to walk in them. Any tips for a full figure woman.

    1. With heels practice makes perfect. I've been wearing them since High School so that's why they are easier for me. Wear them one hour a day at home and practice walking with them in some thin socks. That's how I break all of mine in. The best brands for comfort to me are Jessica Simpson and Steve Madden they can carry my weight. I find that cheaper shoes hurt your feet more often and they feel wobbly.
