Good Morning ladies (and gents),
Today I wanted to show you how I rocked one of this season's hottest trends---mint. I've seen all kinds of mint this season but being plus size not only do you have to worry about getting the trend in your size, but also making sure it flatters your body type. I know flattering is a word it seems a lot of plus size bloggers have a problem with but I like to look my very best. I already stand out because of my size, so I refuse to stand out in something that doesn't make the best of the body I have now.
This mint jean that was gifted to me from Fushia Love is actually hi-waisted but my stomach does not look great in hi-waist style pants or jeans (to me), so I paired it with a peplum style top I've had for at least 2 years before it was actually a "trend". This outfit was a perfect example of mixing old pieces with new ones to make a completely new look.. I opted for a Fringe bag for my statement accessory and a slim belt that actually came with a random skirt I own. I felt that any other jewelry was unnecessary for this look. This jean is very comfortable. If you are bottom heavy like me, I would suggest going a size up, otherwise this jean is true to size. It fits like a jegging.
If you are plus size and thought u couldn't wear a colored jean, think again. WE can rock every color of the rainbow and look damn good in them too :)
