I usually don't post on the weekends but I just wanted to drop by and wish all of you and your Moms a Happy Mother's Day. This is a hard time for me as I lost my son at 37 weeks in October and a daughter last year at 34 weeks and it brought back painful memories, but I am a trooper and this too shall pass. I initially started not to blog about it but I wanted to let anyone that is reading my blog today know that if you went through a similar experience you are not alone. I know that my time for a family will come one day but in the meantime, I refuse to let any bad experiences I've had in life keep me down and make me a bitter person. I have learned not to dwell on the bad things because they have never and will never define me. On a positive note, I actually started blogging as a way to cope with losing my son and you guys will never know just how much your positive words and encouragement helped me through one of the toughest times in my life even tho you had no idea what I was going through. In honor of Mother's day I decided to share some pictures of my favorite celebrities and their Moms and also a recent picture of my Mother and I. I don't know where I would be if it had not been for my Mother and her persistence for me to excel in life. She definitely gets the credit for every accomplishment I've made because she never let me settle for "just enough to get by" or "good enough".
