I attended an open house at an Art Gallery last night with my Mom and we had an AMAZING time.......we viewed some fantastic art pieces by an artist named Jeffrey Yentz...and the live violinist was awesome. I just LOVE going to constructive events especially ones where I can network on a professional level. When you get too content where you are, you stop striving to reach your greatest potential so I am always trying to reach that next level in my personal and professional life.
I had been dying to wear my Houndstooth trench that I thrifted for 5.00!! I paired it with a basic black dress, mustard colored suede pumps with flower embellishment and a fur clutch (remember I told you guys I was going to get my clutch/handbag game up this year).......I loved the touch of elegance the fur added to the look as well as the pop of color against all the black and white. People were stopping me all night to tell me how much they loved the shoes.....I don't care what anyone says....we dress for ourselves first and foremost but when strangers compliment your attire that's the cherry on top :)

Here are some of my fave celebs that rocked Houndstooth this Fall:
I definitely didn't want to go the GaGa Route and do "overkill" Houndstooth but hers was definitely fun to look at and true to her personal style.
What did you think of my look? Have you tried Houndstooth this Fall/Winter yet?
Until Next Time,
